On this day\, experts from the book industry in Cyprus\, Greece\, Europe\, and the Arab world will come together to discuss local\, regional\, and international challenges as well as opportunities in the industry. \nFelicia Hofmann has been invited to give an engaging presentation on Digital Marketing. In her talk\, “Best Practices for Social Media Marketing: From Big to Small\,” she will provide practical insights on how publishers—regardless of size and resources—can engage their community and leverage current trends through targeted social media strategies. The following questions will be central to her presentation: How can effective social media marketing be achieved even with limited resources? What constitutes authentic content\, and how can publishers benefit from the latest tools? \nIn addition to her role as a speaker\, Felicia Hofmann will also be available as a point of contact for local and regional publishers. Take this opportunity to gain valuable insights into the world of digital marketing and elevate your own social media presence to the next level. \nFelicia Hofmann\, who grew up in Bern (Switzerland)\, studied Social Anthropology and Religious Studies in Fribourg (Switzerland) before moving to Munich in 2019 to work for Burda Verlag. Today\, she is the Social Media Team Lead in the marketing department of dtv publishing and is responsible for strategic planning on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. \n  \n

The Limassol International Book Fair is a significant cultural initiative focusing on books and literature. \nThe Brothers Grimm: Fairy Tale Hour\nAs part of this event\, Larissa Pusejkina will read from a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. With her empathetic and expressive reading\, she will transport the audience into the enchanting world of German fairy tales\, which have inspired the imagination of readers and listeners for generations. The reading will be complemented by video scenes and partial translations into Greek. \nThe Brothers Grimm\, Jakob and Wilhelm\, are world-renowned for their collection of fairy tales\, which are deeply rooted in German culture. Their stories\, often filled with adventure\, magic\, and moral lessons\, have inspired generations of readers and have become a staple of the literary canon. DESCRIPTION:The Goethe-Institut Cyprus is supporting the third edition of the International Limassol Book Fair with the participation of the German poet Ulrike Almut Sandig. Limassol International Book Fair is a leading cultural initiative focused on Books and Letters. \nWe were here. Poems on the Present\nFull of humor\, musicality\, lightness and rage\, Ulrike Almut Sandig’s poetry has loops in your ear. The German poet will read and perform her playful poems in English and German. \nUlrike Almut Sandig is a writer\, musician\, and translator based in Berlin. She has published numerous collections of poetry and stories\, as well as music albums and audio plays. Most recently\, her translation of the New Zealand poet Hinemoana Baker’s work\, titled »Funkhaus«\, was released by the publisher Voland & Quist. Sandig is at home on international stages with her own poetry\, often collaborating with artists in India\, New Zealand\, and Ukraine. In 2015\, she co-founded the poetry collective »Landschaft« with Grigory Semenchuk\, combining poetry with music and video art. An album of the same name was released in 2018\, followed by five digital single releases. Regarding her latest collection\, “Leuchtende Schafe” (published by Schöffling)\, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote: “Ulrike Almut Sandig’s poetry offers her readers freedom.” Sandig is also a member of PEN Berlin. \nLanguage: German and English \nLanitis Carob Mill\, Limassol\nStage 5
