DESCRIPTION:With references to music\, art and literature\, this presentation will explore the main characteristics of German Romanticism and its influence in today’s everyday life. We will offer examples of how our contemporary sense of artistic sensibility\, collective consciousness\, “European” identity\, and emotional expression\, reveal unlikely and unexpected connections with the Romantic approach to life\, art and identity.
