The Turkish Cypriot German Cultural Association is organising two shadow play workshops for children aged 7-11 based on the fairy tale “Hansel and Gretel”.

During the workshop, the characters and story telling will be performed by participants as a team work  with an improvisational form of adapting through screen. The participants will create a fictitious story; will animate the story characters by shadow puppets and as a group work, they will enjoy by learning.

Shadow Play is acknowledged as the intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. A small presentation will also take place by the Bream (Karagöz) at the workshop.
