ABOUT US
The “Weeks of the German Language” is an annual festival organised by the Embassies of Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Goethe-Institut Cyprus with kind the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, boasting an array of activities and events related to the German language and the culture of each participating country.
German is in fact the most widely spoken mother tongue in Europe and the German speaking countries are known for their attractive job markets and study opportunities. By promoting the German language, we support multilingualism and diversity in Cyprus and contribute to the already flourishing cultural exchange between Cyprus, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
