The Limassol International Book Fair is a significant cultural initiative focusing on books and literature.
The Brothers Grimm: Fairy Tale Hour
As part of this event, Larissa Pusejkina will read from a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. With her empathetic and expressive reading, she will transport the audience into the enchanting world of German fairy tales, which have inspired the imagination of readers and listeners for generations. The reading will be complemented by video scenes and partial translations into Greek.
The Brothers Grimm, Jakob and Wilhelm, are world-renowned for their collection of fairy tales, which are deeply rooted in German culture. Their stories, often filled with adventure, magic, and moral lessons, have inspired generations of readers and have become a staple of the literary canon. Fairy tales like Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Cinderella unfold a world where good and evil, courage and cunning, and the overcoming of challenges are central themes.
