As part of the German Language Weeks, the Goethe-Institut Cyprus is offering an interactive seminar series for German teachers on the topic of “Speaking and interactive exercises in online teaching”. You will learn methodical-didactic principles for online teaching from the experienced further-training instructor Anna Pohlschmidt. In addition, you will learn how to use various teaching tools and other digital aids to create successful online lessons. The seminars are interactive and invite you to participate.

Anna Pohlschmidt is a teacher of German as a foreign language and currently teaches mainly in integration courses in Berlin. She is also active as a trainer, lecturer and author in the field of German as a foreign and second language. She is particularly interested in the topic of digitalization of and in teaching.

Programme: Introduction “Speaking in Online Teaching”

• How can I make my online lessons more communicative?
• What possibilities do I have to use the conference tools optimally (e.g. break-out rooms).
• How do I manage to keep my teacher’s office hours short and let my participants have as much say as possible?
• Which further methodological-didactical principles should I consider in online teaching?
• Practical examples

A maximum of 50 participants will be admitted to the seminars.
