Welcome to the “Weeks of the German Language 2021”!

Dear Friends of the German language,

Welcome to the 5th edition of the „Weeks of the German Language“ – a festival dedicated to the German language and culture of the
German-speaking countries. Once again, we are delighted to present you with an exciting programme, prepared with enthusiasm and commitment by all partners!

Due to the ongoing pandemic and the applicable precautionary health measures, we have decided to postpone the opening event, which usually takes
place at Phaneromeni Square in Nicosia, for one more year. At the same time, we have put together a diverse programme including film screenings,
concerts, exhibitions, lectures and events for children, which will span between 25 October and the end of November 2021.

The “Weeks of the German Language” are held in full compliance with applicable COVID-19 health and safety regulations.
