Welcome to the “Weeks of the German Language 2026”!

Dear friends of the German language in Cyprus,

We are delighted to celebrate 10 years of the Weeks of the German Language in Cyprus! This special anniversary edition brings together the German-speaking countries of Austria, Germany and Switzerland to celebrate the richness of their languages and cultures. We are also pleased to welcome the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth as a valued partner in this year’s initiative.

From 3 to 19 November 2026, a diverse programme of events will take place across Cyprus, offering something for everyone. Enjoy an exciting selection of film screenings, musical performances, lectures, cultural activities and much more!

Whether you are a German speaker, a language learner or simply curious about the cultures of German-speaking countries, we invite you to join us and discover the many ways language connects people, ideas and traditions.

You can explore the full programme of events on our website HERE and stay up to date through our Facebook page HERE.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating 10 years of language, culture and connection together!
