The German Christmas spirit is back! The long-awaited traditional German Christmas Fayre by the Cypriot-German Cultural Association will take place on the first Advent Sunday, 27th November 2022, between 2 – 8 p.m., at the Municipal Multipurpose Centre of Nicosia.

Visitors can choose to buy their Christmas gifts among a huge variety of handcrafted products, traditional German Christmas decorations, and Christmas treats like Stollen and Lebkuchen directly from Germany that will be on sale at our stalls.

Wind ensembles and a jazz band will create a unique atmosphere with their live performances of traditional and jazzy Christmas tunes. At the same time, German sausages, tasty waffles, the well-known Glühwein (mulled wine), different kinds of German beer and many other delicacies will be offered by different suppliers. Our young visitors will have the chance to create Christmas decorations and be photographed with the Santa Claus.

The annual German Christmas Fayre is a charity event and is organised within the framework of the Weeks of the German Language.
